Marriott International (NYSE:MAR) declared its quarterly dividend of four cents per share, maintaining the amount paid last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 0.5% going forward.
In afternoon trading, shares of Marriott were drifting lower with the markets, off 1% today.
Among dividend increases, Occidental Petroleum (NYSE:OXY) announced its quarterly dividend of 38 cents per share, an increase of about 15% over its prior dividend in March of 33 cents. Union Pacific (NYSE:UNP) announced its quarterly dividend of 33 cents per share, an increase of about 22% over its prior dividend in February of 27 cents. Public Storage (NYSE:PSA) announced its quarterly dividend of 80 cents per share, an increase of about 23% over its prior dividend in March of 65 cents. And Buckeye General Partner Holdings (NYSE:BGH) announced its quarterly dividend of 43 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in February of 41 cents.
